- Checking the tires – frequently in hot weather. Tires that get too hot to touch are at risk of blowing out or catching fire. Check for heat, wear and proper inflation.
- Check the engine oil. Keep up with oil changes and check them before and after every trip.
- Check the brakes frequently. Hot weather can cause them to lose friction. Give them a break if needed.
